RE: 2011 Lincoln Lager Barleyfest Donation
The Lincoln Lager Barleyfest Committee is pleased to present a $3,000 donation from the proceeds of their 4th Annual Event, to the Tornado Relief Fund. The annual event, presented by Dave’s County Market, and supported by many generous businesses in the area was a huge success this year. The event saw 500 participants on hand to sample 125 different types of beer and spirits from 43 breweries. The Committee would like to thank everyone who attended the event as well as all sponsors, and looks forward to the 5th Annual Lincoln Lager Barleyfest to be held at the Smith Center on October 6th, 2012. The Lincoln Lager Barleyfest is a unique event to our area, considered by many to be one of the premier craft beer festivals in the region. With live music, interactive games, prize giveaways, gourmet food, and great company the volunteer committee takes great pride in improving the event each and every year. The Barleyfest Committee is especially proud of being able to donate the proceeds each year to a worthy cause, with over $7,000 being donated in just four years.
